This is one of my favorite Mars Mission sets. It's small. It's affordable. It's really cool. If you're into sci-fi space ships and that sort of thing, this is for you! I want a dozen of these things!
I like the ship. I like the astronaut! I don't really like the alien. No big deal, though. This set rocks. Buy two! |

| This is an awesome toy! The Astro Fighter is easy to fly around and really unbreakable. It's awesome! Actually, my only complaint is the Alien. His arms don't even move! I mean, who cares if he gloes in the dark! Not me! All in all, the alien gets an F but the M-X11 Astro Fighter itself gets an A+ from me. |
One of the best Mars Mission sets!

My 8-year-old duaghter purchased this set for my 6-year-old son and put it into his Christmas stocking last year. Although the set is small, he has had lots of fun playing with it. It was small and simple enough that he could build it himself (I only helped with the decals) and it was cheap enough that it made a good stocking stuffer. Overall it was a great buy. I have seen this listed at far too high a price in many stores, though.
*As a general rule of thumb, when purchasing a standard-sized LEGO set, you should plan on spending about $0.10/piece in the set. Spend less, and you're getting a good deal. Spend more, and you're getting a worse deal. |
Great value, tons of fun!

| This is such a cool ship! The little green martian is a bunch of fun since he glows in the dark. Boy the mars missions that we've created since we've had this guy! It was VERY easy for a six-year-old to build and the fun he's had with it has been tremendous. Highly recommend! |

| The Mars Mission Lego sets seem to be pretty durable, this one is a snap to put together, of course little players need to beware of moving wings, that they don't get overzealous and break them off. The Astronaut and Alien are really neat, the alien glows in the dark, that's a fun perk. Although we don't play with our legos in the dark a whole lot we thought we lost the alien and I turned off the lights at night and saw it glowing by a corner bookcase, so yeah we didn't lose him. |
